WELCOME TO ALTHORPE AND KEADBY PRIMARY SCHOOL

Together we grow

"Hello, on behalf of all of us at  Althorpe and Keadby Primary School, I welcome you to our website. Thank you for taking the time to visit us. I hope you will find the website friendly, approachable and full of information. This website is updated at least fortnightly with new stories and pictures as our school year unfolds and so it will be well worth returning for another visit.

There is a great deal for us to proud of at Althorpe and Keadby as we are a very busy school which takes great pride in all that it achieves.
We have much to be proud of:

Scunthorpe Speech and Drama Festival KS2 Choral Champions 2017 - 2018

Scunthorpe Speech and Drama Festival KS1 Choral 2nd place 2017 - 2018

Scunthorpe Speech and Drama Festival Adult Choral Champions 2017 - 2018

Scunthorpe Speech and Drama Festival KS1 Choral 3rd place 2018 - 2019

Scunthorpe Speech and Drama Festival KS2 Choral 2nd place 2018 - 2019

Scunthorpe Speech and Drama Festival Adult Choral Champions 2018 - 2019

Scunthorpe Swimming Gala 2017 - 2018 3rd place

KS2 Netball Team represented North Lincolnshire in the Humber School Games 2017

Achievement For All - July 2017

We are proud to be a Rota-Kids School.

We are a Lindesy Lodge Hospice super-supporter school.

We are incredibly proud of the range and number of after school activities we put on each night.

Our Peer Specialists, School Councillors, Librarians, Sports Ambassadors and Health and Safety Leaders all undertake important roles within our school.

We are the only school within North Lincolnshire to  welcome 2 year-olds into our Nursery setting. Please visit or contact the school for more information.

Probably the most important question to be asked about the school is “What does it stand for and believe in?”
To sum up there are three things that are important to us.

  • Firstly, that we want to be the best that we can be and we encourage this belief in our pupils.
  • Secondly, that we can achieve more together, working co-operatively, than we can alone.
  • And finally, we endeavour to give all our pupils as many opportunities as possible.

I do hope you find everything that you are looking for on our website and of course, you are always very welcome to visit us at work and play!"
