Together we grow

"Hello, on behalf of all of us at  Althorpe and Keadby Primary School, I welcome you to our website. Thank you for taking the time to visit us. I trust that you will find the website friendly, approachable and full of information.

There is a great deal for us to proud of at Althorpe and Keadby as we are a very busy school which takes great pride in all that it achieves.
We have much to be proud of:

Scunthorpe Speech and Drama Festival KS2 Choral 2nd place 2019 - 2020

Scunthorpe Speech and Drama Festival KS1 Choral 2nd place 2019 - 2020

Scunthorpe Speech and Drama Festival Adult Choral Champions 2019 - 2020

Scunthorpe Swimming Gala Champions 2018 - 2019

Cluster Cross Country Champions 2019 - 2020

KS1 Sports Hall Athletic Champions 2019 - 2020

KS2 Netball Team represented North Lincolnshire in the Humber School Games 2018 - 2019

We are proud to be a Rota-Kids School.

We are a Lindsey Lodge Hospice super-supporter school.

We have our very own private woodland and are proud to run Forest School lessons on a weekly basis.

We are incredibly proud of the range and number of after school activities we put on each night.

Our Peer Specialists, School Councillors, Librarians, Sports Ambassadors and Health and Safety Leaders all undertake important roles within our school.

We are the only school within North Lincolnshire to  welcome 2 year-olds into our Nursery setting. Please visit or contact the school for more information.

Probably the most important question to be asked about the school is “What does it stand for and believe in?”

To sum up there are three things that are important to us.

  • Firstly, that we want to be the best that we can be and we encourage this belief in our pupils.
  • Secondly, that we can achieve more together, working co-operatively, than we can alone.
  • And finally, we endeavour to give all of our pupils as many opportunities as possible to find "their thing!"

I do hope you find everything that you are looking for on our website and of course, you are always very welcome to visit us at work and play!"
