This week we started our Bramblebank Wood mini forest school sessions, we took buckets into the woods and collected forest school treasures.

While in Bramblebank we took time to explore the different areas in the woodland, we really enjoyed running up and down the hill and seeing if we could spot any birds from the bird hide.

When we returned from Bramblebank Wood we used our woodland treasures to make pictures we used really sticky glue! We think they look great!

Wednesday 3rd October

Following the children's interests of mixing and making cakes in the sandpit, in the nursery we made our own cakes. First we needed to mix our chocolate and rice crispies together. Then we scooped out mixture into our cake cases. At snack time we ate our cakes and we all enjoyed them, yum yum!

Wednesday 10th October

This week we have been singing five current buns. We practised out scooping and pouring using the raisins and water. In the water we had our own tea party. At snack time we enjoyed eating current buns and drinking a hot chocolate.

We all enjoyed using the tweezers to carefully pick up peas and transport them from one bowl to another.

Wednesday 26th September

Following Calebs interest of making jam sandwiches in the nursery sandpit Mrs Harrison brought in real bread and jam for us to make sandwiches with.

We carefully used our knife to spread our jam onto the bread then when we added another slice of bread then we used our knife to cut our sandwiches in two.

Thursday 27th September

Today we held our monthly Imagination library session where we invited our parents to stay for half an hour where they joined in with our activities based around our chosen book.

This months Imagination Library book was called Shark in the Park by Nick Sharratt, we decorated our own telescopes and coloured in pictures of ducks, then we got out our mats and listened to Mrs Harrison telling the story while we had a biscuit.
