Spring Term 2019

We celebrated World Book Day and enjoyed the full school theme of Peter Pan. We thought of words to describe Peter Pan and Tinkerbell and completed our own character descriptions.

"Tinkerbell is beautiful and elegant" Maisie

"Tinkerbell is green and glittery" Lilly

"Captain Hook is fierce" Rosabella

"Captain Hook is mean and nasty" Ashdon

Money Money Money...

We have celebrated Maths Week within school. We have enjoyed hunting for coins, reading The Great Pet Sale and making our very own pet shop.

We sewed our very own purses and enjoyed learning this new skill. We then counted 20 pennies into our purses and went to the shop.

We took part in our first full school pancake races, it was amazing, we had to run fast and flip pancakes all at the same time!

We have had so much fun and have been very busy learning new skills.

We enjoyed reading together with our friends, making a puppet theatre and acting out a show. We also ventured into Bramble Bank Woods to make bird feeders and enjoyed some careful exploration and climbing.

We retold The Easter Story using Godly Play Props.

"It's Jesus here, he's under the rock and then Mary camed and he had gone. He was in a garden" Jace

"The Guards came and made him carry that cross up the hill, then they used nails in his hands. That must've hurt!" Leo
