Maths in Mag 7

Our daily time challenge. We are now able to convert to 24hr time.

TTRockstars - We are on it!

For our entry point we imagined that the International Space Station was running out of vital supplies. Our task was to build a rocket, that would deliver the supplies from Earth to the space station. We worked hard in small groups to complete the task, from the photographs you can see that most of us were successful.

For Chinese New Year M7 worked with Y6, which was fun and a good learning experience. Our task was to make a Chinese lantern that would light up and could be switched on and off. Some of us were more successful than others, however we all showed a good growth mindset.

We have been enjoying our sessions in Bramblebank taking part in the Forest School experience. As part of World Book Day, we have been learning how to safetly whittle a pirate's head. We turned out to be very good whittler's!

For out exit point from Space Explorers Mag 7, Year 5 and Year 6 invited the rest of the school to view our work and to take part in some of the activities that we had completed during our topic. Our Sedimentary.Rock Cake was particularly popular!
