Summer Term 2016

Miss Tyson told us the story of Perseus and Medusa, a gorgon. Medusa has snakes on her head instead of hair and if you look at her you are turned to stone. She is not someone we would like to meet!
We talked about what Medusa might have looked like, then sketched her in our art books. When we were happpy with our sketch we could chose whether to paint it or use pastels.

Next, we made our own masks of mythical creatures.

To prepare for the Olympics, we designed and made our own Olympic torches.
