Summer Term

This term we will be learning all about plants and animals. We will find out about how plants grow, where animals live and what they eat. We will even grow our own plants and flowers.

We have made our own vehicles!

We learned some new skills and worked hard in pairs to create them. We learned how to use a 'jig', 'chamfer' and learned how to make our wheels rotate on an axle.

What we've been learning...

This week we took part in a virtual step challenge. We managed over 21,000 steps!

We planted sunflower and foxglove seeds. We are working in teams to look after them. Keep checking back to see how they're growing.

We celebrated Earth Day by doing a litter pick in the nearby park. We made tally charts of the rubbish we found and the majority could've been recycled. We have written some amazing letters to the local council with our ideas on how we could improve the litter problem at the park.

We have worked really hard on the iPads to create a pic collage. We have sequence the story Jim and the Beanstalk and typed information about each picture. We then saved it, uploaded it to seesaw and tagged ourselves in it. What a super computing session!
