Spring Term 2019

2019

We have a very busy term ahead of us! Keep checking back for exciting updates and news.

Chinese New Year!

We received a very important red letter which meant we researched and created our very own dragon/Chinese New Year performances. We were exceptional and loved every minute of being creative!

As our book is Wanted: The Chocolate Monster, guess who came to visit Year 4?!

He came when Miss Watson and Miss Dudley were out of the room and ATE ALL OF OUR CHOCOLATE!

We have written him persuasive letters to plead with him not to ever steal chocolate again!

Television News Reports - CHOCOLATE MONSTER ON THE LOOSE!

A few of our girls have headed off to the Dance Showcase. Here we are with some other members of KS2!

ENTRY POINT - CHOCOLATE

We became scientists on Wednesday 9th January and had 5 different stations based on our senses. We had to discuss, reason, enquire and predict at these stations all relating to chocolate. Each station had 2 key questions we had to answer.

We had fun of course tasting these too! Pictures below show the exciting activities we did.

As part of children's mental health week, we brought in something which is special to us (including Miss Watson!)

It was lovely hearing eachother's stories about why these things were special and important to each of us.
