Class Book - The Tin Forest

Material World

Material World Entry Point

On Friday 28th April we came in from lunch to find invites on our desks inviting us to the hall at 1:15pm to take part in a SCULPTURE CHALLENGE. At the front of the hall there was a huge pile of RUBBISH and we had to transform this into a sculpture of our choice. Here are some photos from our afternoon.

Entry Point

On Tuesday 13th June we walked into the hall with the sound of sirens soaring and blazing. Around the room, there were some intruiging posters. This was the start of our next, and last topic in year 4 - ACTIVE PLANET.  Our task was to imagine that our school was a disaster relief centre and we had to plan what we could offer, assign roles and responsibilities and develop a list of items we would need. We had some great discussions and cannot wait to get started on this topic!
